The Subaru Impreza is a compact car that has been in the Japanese manufacturers’ line-up since 1992. Impreza was introduced to the market to act as a replacement for Leone. The EJ series replaced the EA series of engines present in the predecessor. Subaru has seen the car through different generations up to the fifth generation. Over the different generations, the manufacturer has produced the Subaru Impreza with variations such as a four-door and five-door sedan in 1992 and later built a coupe in 1995. The Subaru Impreza has also had a five-door wagon variation, which was manufactured to introduce the hatchback model.
