The city of Grand Prairie is fixed in three counties, Ellis, Dallas and Tarrant. Grand Prairie is traversed by renown highways. These highways are the; Belt Line Road, a major route cutting the city from North to South, State Routes 161 and 360 moving north to south and northwestern via the city respectively and the Interstate Highways 30 and 20 running east to west through the southern and northern sections of the city simultaneously. The Texas State Highways 180 and 303 are also very relevant in the transport sector here as they run east to west in the central and northern partitions of the city.
