Most of the transport route featured driving on the I-40 West, going through areas of poor weather and obstructive highway conditions. A detour near the state borders of Mississippi and Arkansas that Stephen arranged for enabled the transport to save time by exiting onto I-55 S to avoid following the I-40 to Memphis, Tennessee.
All the while, the client was kept completely in the know concerning the status of the International Harvester Pizza truck, with communication from Stephen Ladd to arrange for the drop-off. By the time the transport reached Bakersfield, CA they still had 7 hours and 25 minutes to spare and 3 hours later a successful offload was performed at the client’s doorstep.
